Tổng số ca bệnh Covid-19 từ đầu dịch tới ngày 2/11/2021 đã là 247.902 triệu ca, trong đó trên 5 triệu ca tử vong. Tính đến thời điểm hiện tại, Mỹ vẫn là quốc gia có số ca mắc và tử vong vì COVID-19 cao nhất thế giới với gần 47 triệu ca mắc và khoảng 776.000 ca tử vong. Tiếp đó là Ấn Độ với trên 34,2 triệu ca mắc, trong đó khoảng 458.000 ca tử vong. Đứng thứ ba là Brazil với trên 21,8 triệu ca mắc và khoảng 607.000 ca tử vong.
